an audiovisual investigation into amateur photographs of unknown origin
23 ZOOMS consists of 23 clips with a duration of 1 to 4 minutes. This piece of work is designed as a collection of photographs I found and bought on flea markets. There is no beginning and no end. Each clip is self-sufficient. There is no connection between the photographs, the people portrayed or the motifs.
The only link between the photographs is the way the camera moves over and zooms into the pictures.
In accordance with the emotions I had when looking at the pictures, I composed a soundtrack for each photograph.
